I removed the internal SATA hard drive from another laptop and connected it to my laptop with a SATA adapter, how can I format this hard drive completely, easily and safely?
Right click on the hard drive and then on Format. In addition, you can click the box with Restore device standard. You can also assign a name right away. If you want to be absolutely sure, you can repeat this process a few times. Or you can deactivate the quick format.
