Which camera? Which cell phone? Under certain circumstances, you can use a USB OTG adapter to drag and drop the pictures onto your cell phone when you take them, edit them with a DSLR dashboard or Snapseed. Otherwise there's perhaps a card reader for your cell phone with such a USB OTG adapter? Just browse the Amazon or Google.
If both can use WLAN, it can be done somehow without a cable or adapter. But you would have to know the devices…
The simplest and fastest way is probably simply a card reader with a micro USB or USB-C connection (depending on the cell phone). I assume that you take pictures in jpeg and not RAW?

Yes I prefer to take pictures in jpeg. I also do Raw, depending on what kind of photos.
