The laptop of my wife (about 4 years old, from ALDI) does not boot anymore, he is lame and quite stupid (MEDION / intel) with the medieval DOS and says: "For Atheros PCIE Ethernet Controller v. 2.0.1.2 (07 / 29/09), then: Check cable connection! And then: PXE-M0F: Exiting Intel PXE ROM and then: Reboot and Select proper Boot device or insert Boot Media into selected Boot device
So I need a working boot-stick! How do you create that?
After that I would like to delete everything on the laptop and reinstall Windows 10.
I have a "big" PC with Windows 10 (MEDION, also from ALDI), which runs very well and from which I'm currently working. Corresponding. I have already downloaded the file: Windows.iso.

Actually, the error expresses yes, that something is wrong with the connection to the hardware or the PCIE Ethernet Controller itself.
Computers do not boot if there's a serious hardware problem. This does not necessarily have anything to do with the boot media if you do not boot over the ethernet connection.
