I'm now in rehab and wanted to take my TV stick, but I was told that Wlan what the offer unfortunately have a lock in there so I do not use the stick there. Can I do something against that? I think so synonymous that I continue to use Netflix on my laptop, so it will probably be somehow on the stick synonymous to use?
Or does anyone know alternative TV sticks that can do it on their own?

There are two types of TV sticks.
a) DVB-T2 - is the classic antenna television from the past only just digital
b) TV streamed over the internet
Netflix is a streaming service. That is, the data comes over the Internet. Providers of public WLANs like to block additional services, so that only the classic services such as e-mail and websites go.
Streaming causes high volumes of data and this must be paid.

Does that mean that the son quiverses when there's no streaming, so you have him in the rehab? - That would be a good opportunity to really deal with your son instead of just calming him down or "parking" him in front of the TV.

There will be nothing, the SPerre one can't handle. But that should also be clear, they have a very normal Internet connection, which make the patient accessible via the WLAN. Get a VPN with a German location, connect, then stream as normal via notebook. Basically you can't lock this option.
