How to attach LAN cables to wall?

I have already planned last year a new LAN cable from the living room to relocate to my room, as the old broken was and would be too short (permission of the parents I have). That's 20m to my room. Since I have 3 electrical appliances in my room too, which I would like to connect to the Internet via LAN, I wanted to connect the LAN cable, from the living room, to a LAN switch and then from the LAN switch a cable to the devices ( Laptop, Ps4, Telestar Reciver). I would like to lay the cables on the wall as recorded in the picture. But I have no plan how I should bother these. Of course, the cables should not fall off and last for several years. The Wi-Fi is grotty in my room and a wireless repeater I would not, because I play a lot with friends.

I hope you can help me and yes I was / am not the best in art.

You do not want to pave the cables so high on the wall, right?

I would put on the floor along the cable channel and run the LAN cable through there. It gets quite clean, if you lead the channel then even on the router up to this high… The channel either stuck, nail, or drill. With the last two variants on other cables in the wall (or if necessary heating pipes pay attention). Otherwise expensive…

If you do not want to get into the wall, then line channels are a possibility, like this one: https://www.etoh24.de/5733-Installationsmaterial/6032-Kabelkanaele/

This can also lead to completely hidden corners.

There are also baseboards that hide the cable at the bottom of the wall:

Since Ethernet cables may be up to 100 meters long, you do not have to pay attention to the shortest route.

Well, I like it somehow, when cables run along so. Of course, cable channels would also be a possibility I did not think about that, thank you!

1) from the router through the apartment to the switch you need exactly 1 cable! This goes into the switch and connects router, switch and other devices in the apartment with each other, via the router and the wireless devices.

from the switch, you then supply the 3 devices in your room with a short, suitable LAN cable

2) Cable route and mounting:
to the router, I would recommend a Cat6 cable, this laid with a cable channel along the floor or under the ceiling, so you hardly see it. Because of door frames, of course, the ceiling would be ideal. To get into other rooms would be best a breakthrough through the wall, so the door is still closing.
then strategically place the switch in your room and possibly lay the laid cable in a single surface-mounted box.

3) from the switch, I recommend the use of Cat5e or Cat6 patch cables (both ends plugs), these cables can then more or less elegant on the floor and hide long. If you use cable clamps, use plastic ones that have only one nail to minimize the interference of the signal through induction.
