I bought a laptop a few days ago. So far it has been delivered so far.
Unfortunately, I was not at home at the time of delivery, so the deliverer forcefully stuffed the package into the mailbox. Both the laptop and the mailbox were damaged.
What do I do best now?
The question is whether something is damaged, if so you can send it back.
"Commercial traders who sell to private customers bear the full transport risk and have to either deliver a replacement or reimburse the purchase price for damaged goods. As a consumer, you don't have to deal with the parcel service yourself."
You have to request a replacement delivery from the dealer, because if it is a commercial seller, he is liable for the delivery. He then has to claim damages internally with the transport company.
Contact the seller as soon as possible and take evidence photos. He MUST provide a replacement.
A laptop in the mailbox?
It's a little kid.
Then it was definitely not packed in accordance with the rules and DHL will (rightly) clean it up.
Because of the damaged mailbox, you have to deal with DHL yourself.
You have certainly taken photos of the pristine "crime scene". You send these to DHL and to your property management (if you live in a rented apartment). That goes through the property management.
