Data from hard drive to new laptop?

My one laptop is broken. I want to transfer the data from the hard drive to my new laptop. How are you?

What kind of adapter or cable is required?

The older laptop no longer works and there's important data on it.

Remove the hard disk and then connect it here:

I think the best thing to do is to remove the hard drive and attach it to a computer, pull everything down and slide it onto the new laptop. If it is switched off and does not come on, you don't really get the data as far as I know. I can be wrong

Remove the hard drive (there are service "flaps below) to unscrew. Then buy a corresponding adapter cable to USB online, connect it to the new one and you can then read out and copy your old hard drive via Explorer. Alternatively, there's the same cable with a Case, then you can use your hard drive as a USB hard drive and take it with you.

It depends. There are also laptops with soldered eMMC storage. Then you can't get to the data at all. There were some with 1.8 "hard disks, old ones with PATA connectors, but most modern laptops have SATA HDDs or SSDs.

Which old laptop is it about?

Is a Dell laptop

I take it you mean Dell. This manufacturer has built over 1000 different models. Useful help is possible if you post more details.

Have a photo where everything can be seen.

The model is above as a picture. Would be very grateful if you would answer me again.

Yes, after a long search on the Internet (you can do that too) I found the information that this model contains a 2.5 "500 GB HDD. This can be expanded and connected via USB with the adapters that the other respondents mentioned. How I haven't found out how to remove the plate exactly, but it should be possible with a suitable screwdriver.
