I wanted to ask which software (for PC / laptop) is best suited, for example if you want to record your voice and then want to filter out annoying background noises such as other voices, wind, noise, etc.
Audacity
Is there more? (Programs)
Jo, e.g. Adobe DreamWave or FL Studio, Ableton etc.
The problem almost always occurs when using large diaphragm condensers and colleagues. They are supposed to pick up the finest noises. There must be absolute silence for these microphones. Since these are very often inexpensive microphones, simple and inexpensive (noisy) components are also used.
Noise removal is somewhat possible with Audacity
Actually, it doesn't work at all without loss. You have to play with the EQ and find frequencies that correspond to the disturbing noise. These frequencies are of course missing in the mix afterwards.
