Is it a cliché that only old and young children have a smartphone?

So I'm not an old person and I don't have a smartphone. I do my internet things on my laptop. Just have a basic cell phone. There are definitely more people who don't have a smartphone who don't fit into this age cliché.

You are a rarity

Well, I think that's simply because young people want to be available and share their lives with friends. Of course, this works much better with a smartphone that has various camera lenses, lots of memory, a large touchscreen, etc. Than with a normal mobile phone. It's just practical to have a mini computer in your pocket at all times. Personally, I also think it's okay if someone doesn't have an up-to-date smartphone

I wonder why some don't have a smartphone? It doesn't have to be a 1000 euro + device, there are some that are definitely cheaper.

They are worlds more practical than old-fashioned cell phones.

Even my mother at 67 uses a smartphone
