Before you look at Microsoft Office, check out Libre Office. Free and just as good as the Microsoft Office.

Ok, I can't quite understand it but ok. After all, you have to decide.
If you can't get anything suitable about the school, only Office 365 Home or staff remains (unless you want to buy the really expensive Office 2019 Professional).
If, for example, even more family members or even friends want to use an office package, the home version is really cheap - up to 6 people can use Office on all devices - the annual subscription price will be shared among you.
