That's right, the ventilation is anything but optimal in the model as almost all office notebooks, the fan slots are only at the bottom. However, in my opinion, it is enough for longer games. You should not necessarily put it on a bed / pillow while playing. I have never controlled the temperatures, I could actually do it.
