Windows 10 display selection via headphones?

I plug in headphones (small jack) and then want to see what I plugged in again. In the dialog I could choose:

Headphones with microphone
headphone

It was a display in Windows design that came up automatically whenever I plugged a headphone plug into the device. So I think it was a Windows dialog, and nothing strange. I have Windows 10, but I also see this on a Windows XP notebook after plugging it in.

Now I don't see this ad anymore. I had disabled showing this ad again. Who can help me?

Go to the system tray, bottom right. Try clicking several times until the correct menu opens. There you can set what should and should not be started automatically.

Unfortunately there's not what I need. I want to switch from small jack audio input to jack with microphone. These plugs look the same, but are prepolar.

This should work if you go to the sound details setting via the sound symbol.
