So it's about the following:
I have a Wi-Fi hotspot with my tablet on which all Wi-Fi-compatible devices in the household hang.
Download rate on the tablet, on the laptops and on the PC with W-LAN stick was always stable at 30-40 Mbit / s. Now I'm downloading a game that has 90 GB. Now the game downloads at 600 KB / S (fluctuation range + - 100 KB / s). The whole thing seemed a bit slow to me, since their servers should actually have to deliver more than 700 KB / s. Then I did a speed test on the PC, which resulted in only 1 Mbps instead of the usual 30-40 Mbps.
With the other devices, I still have a download rate of 30-40 Mbps.
Now I thought something couldn't be right. I download something with about 700 kbps and only have a remaining volume of 1 Mbps. So in total almost 2 Mbps. Why is that?
Your tablet has a SIM card for internet access?
What is the value of a speed test on a tablet with the hotspot switched off?
Disconnect all other devices from your Wi-Fi and just leave the PC connected… All devices have to share the hotspot…
Maybe think about an LTE router instead of misusing the tablet…
So as already mentioned in the question I get 30-40 Mbps.
The network is otherwise not loaded by any end device or does not need a device 30-40 Mbps.
An LTE router does exactly the same thing, except that it has installed a better transmitter.
I'm now at 3 Mbps. But it doesn't really make sense either, because I still get 30-40 Mbps in the same network with other end devices.
