I had bought a laptop 10 days ago from saturn the laptop doesn't start anymore it only lights up power led and display stays black
Can I exchange / return the laprop I still have the receipt I bought it with the membership card 30 days return policy instead of 14 days
But make the problems because the laptop is broken
Did you try to press the F2 key when starting the laptop? You should go to the BIOS and see if your disks are recognized.
If nothing happens, I assume the partitions are damaged. In other words, the Windows installation is unusable and can no longer boot due to the defect!
The display remains black, the fan turns briefly for 3 seconds, then the abwr power led remains lit as if the laptop were on
Then a cable may have come loose.
Does the manufacturer's logo come at least when starting?
This is clearly a case for warranty - unless you have somehow damaged the notebook yourself.
You have the right to a working device!
Take the notebook to Saturn and have it repaired or exchanged. You can find more information about the warranty e.g. Here: https://www.arbeiterkammer.at/beratung/konsument/EinkaufundRecht/Gewaehrleistung.html
The legal situation for warranties is uniform in all EU countries.
Laptop does not start bios adjustment
No not at all, the display remains black
But it can't be that the laptop does not start because the fans do not turn
Then this should be a guarantee case
Possibly already…
Which notebook is it (company and name)?
E.g. With some Lenovo notebooks, you can access the BIOS or UEFI settings by pressing with a paper clip into a small hole on the side and starting the notebook…
Request a guarantee from Saturn or directly from the manufacturer.
LENOVO IDEAPAD S145
Perhaps you come into BIOS with switching on and then immediately click the F2 key several times until you get into the settings.
I've already tried it
