Sims 4 delayed while playing?

I have a little problem and while playing when I click other Sims, it always takes a while until the ad comes to click on what the Sim should do. And it takes longer to load. But I have a good laptop with 3.1 GHz and 8 GB Ram so actually a good laptop, does anyone know what it could be. I also have a few mods and Scribt
