Hi. How can I connect a PS4 (pro) HDD to a laptop without erasing anything?
That doesn't work because the PS4 HDD's are encrypted.
Windows recognizes that you have plugged something in, but you have to completely flatten it in the hard drive and set it up again. PS4 data on the HDD are all gone
Would it be possible to move the data to another one with more memory?
Yes, sure. That can be done via an external HDD on the USB port of the PS4. Connect the external HDD and then use the Backup / Restore menu item to save your old hard drive to the USB.
Before doing this, please make sure that you have installed all updates, both system and game updates.
Then remove the old HDD, insert the new one and play everything back from the USB onto the new HDD.
