I bought a notebook 5-6 weeks ago, which unfortunately has been defective since the first day. After a week I went to the Real and wanted to exchange or return it. The employee from the repair service said that they have to send it for repair and that I can't exchange it because of data protection. The notebook has been repaired for 4-5 weeks. How long do I still have to wait? I also called Real a lot and nobody answers and when they answer, they hang up in the face.
From a purely legal point of view, there's no exact time specification. It can also be much longer. Since not only you have a problem.
In this case, the employees can't really help you anyway. The repair points are closed on Friday and Saturday.
I think that because of data protection is an excuse. During the repair, the hard drive is usually deleted anyway, due to data protection and you can do it yourself before exchange.
Nobody can say how long the repair will take. Real will definitely send that to the manufacturer.
