If you try to do something as an administrator but are not logged in as admin, the laptop will ask you for the PW again and again.

Enter your password every time you start and remember it well, it protects your computer from unauthorized use, unless you have given your password to anyone else.
I also only get access to the decstop after entering a password.
So with user account control, ok
