Japanese New Year?

Of course, I have set the Gregorian calendar on my laptop, and as an alternative the Japanese lunar calendar, and according to that, today is New Year. To which year / month do we change today?

Japan now celebrates New Year on January 1st, but it is actually Chinese New Year, which in Japan is not celebrated under the term 旧 正月, but is "noted". We're moving into the year of the bull.
