I want to buy a new laptop and I don't know whether to buy a Chrome book or a Windows 10 laptop. What is the difference and which one is more suitable for me. I really just want to surf around, edit Word documents, stream presentations and a few films / series or Netflix. Would be cool if you answered me specifically and seriously.
In this case, I would recommend using a Chromebook. Chromebooks are just as easy to use with chromeOs as an android smartphone, it starts in a few seconds and when you first set it up, you only have to log in with your google account. Because chromebooks do not need such good hardware due to chromeOs, chromebooks are cheaper compared to Windows notebooks with the same hardware. In addition, you don't need any extra antivirus software and you can easily save documents in the google cloud (i.e. Google drive) so that you can access them from your mobile phone. So for your needs, a Chromebook is definitely the better choice.
