With working laptops it is always the case that the games run very slowly or do not even start at all. For me, the second is the case. Can I change the graphics card and just install another driver without my laptop spitting?
Or are there other ways to get Minecraft / Hearthstone running, for example?

There are external gpu cases for laptops, you can plug them into the laptop, put a graphics card in the slot and get started. Of course it costs…
With laptop the possibilities are very limited. You can't do much. Minecraft should even run with the iGPU - that worked on my laptop from 2013 too.
