Since I reset my laptop, the laptop does not want to accept a microphone. Audio works and so, but micro does not work. It is displayed, but when I speak I can't be heard. Works on my other laptop but I need it on mine.
Micro: Trust GXT 265 EXXO PC / LAPTOP STREAMING
Have you already looked in the Aufio Settings?
Have a look whether the recording volume is turned down or the microphone is muted?
Yes, everything works as I said on the other laptop
I've tried everything, not even the built-in microphone of the laptop works
What does the device manager show?
The micro says it works fine only with "events" is not migrated

I think it's great that you write what kind of microphone you have… But which laptop? That would help a bit.
Is an older asus k501ux
Not migrated? Hm, I haven't heard either. "Migrate" means something like wandering / immigrating somewhere else. What does that mean in connection with the micro? Hm, maybe take a look on the net…
I've tried, unfortunately, nothing found, probably the laptop simply "find / accept" some problem with the microphone
I guess you found a problem: this is a combination port (if I haven't caught the wrong model). You will then need some kind of adapter… But I have to go in that direction.
Hm, try the following: Deactivate the thing in the device manager and then activate it again.
Nene because before I reset my laptop everything went micro and so but when I reset it the problem came
Then I would check the driver. If you already write above that the integrated does not work, that would indicate a software problem somewhere.
Still doesn't work…
What does that mean and what exactly should i do?
Check the driver of the microphone (it will probably have one) and possibly the sound card, maybe the worm is in there.
Aha, then mallet: Uninstall and reinstall the driver. To be on the safe side, restart afterwards.
But i don't know which driver i have…
I have a Trust 256 Exxo micro and can't find a driver for it…
Should be able to be found out via the device manager, if I'm not mistaken…
I've tried but I don't know in which folder.
Folder?
I mean in which section I find it
Should be "audio, video and game controller".
But there are only my audio outputs that I have connected, nothing else
The problem is rarely the computer but the operating system.
Ok and what should i do jz?
would be nice if you could explain it to mr about dc: NotCat # 4174
You may need to download the drivers for this
I don't know if there's a driver
Every device on the PC or laptop needs drivers (keyboard, audio, mouse, VGA, HDMI, USB, and so on)
Ok you mean software like G HUB
The reason for this is probably that with Win10, for security reasons, the apps that are supposed to access the microphone or may have to be re-enabled in "Settings> Privacy> Microphone" after the Win10 restore.
