I was on the internet and wanted to install a program (Windows Movie Maker) because I looked at YouTube tutorials. I go to the side and what happens? There's a message with this page is not safe and a very loud beeping and I should install something, because otherwise my Windows will be deleted or something. I always close these pages directly.
I also accidentally installed a wrong program ♀️
Other thing: I'm normal on my laptop, open WordPad, a normal program which is already preinstalled. Wait a minute, suddenly comes a message from my AntiVirus (which is free) something with bitcoin.exe
Is that a virus?! Should I delete everything on my laptop? I also bought stuff at the Microsoft Store and Sims 4 and stuff like that. Is everything then gone forever?
As soon as you connect a PC to the internet you have viruses on it
Delete everything and reinstall but free virus killer and monitoring bring nothing
Go to Task Manager and search for Bitcoin.exe. If this is a virus, you never know, at least if you find it in the Task Manager go to the Control Panel -> Uninstall a program and search for the program. If you can't find bitcoin.exe search for programs which you do not know and which ones are not pre-installed by Windows.
