I maintain the habit of transferring images from my phone (iPhone, if that's important) to my Windows PC every few months. Since this is going on for some years now, between 10 and 20 thousand pictures and videos have definitely accumulated.
I'm very interested in the pictures and you never know if the laptop might spontaneously give up its ghost and I will mourn the pictures forever, so I would like to know which data carrier (is that called?) In the sense of USB or something, have enough capacity so that I can store that data there. Would I buy a new PC I would wsl the pictures. But to transfer to this is not so important now.
If you already have them in a folder on the PC, you can right-click on the folder and look at the "properties". There you will find the info how many files (pictures / videos) are in this folder, and how much space they "occupy"… And with the info you can then look for a suitable storage medium (USB stick or external hard drive)
How should we know about sufficient capacity if you do not say anything about the size of your archive? https://www.amazon.de/...B07994QL95
