I have Windows 2000 on my old laptop. It always gets stuck in the middle of the Windows 2000 logo starting process when booting up.
Safe mode didn't do anything either. Nothing else is plugged in which could block the start!
Does anyone know a solution to this problem?
Get a new laptop with win10. Every 300 euro laptop has more power these days, sorry every 200 euro smart divice
The solution is no longer a 20 year old operating system
Maybe he wants to use old games or programs that only run under Win 2000 ?!
I still have a WinXP just for custom rom and old games.
Then use a VM.

What speaks against ne vm
Have tried it myself with VM. Games run so well.
And to install custom rom, I didn't try it. Neither will I because the risk is too high that there will be a brick.
The programs run so well. In order for these to run great, it would very likely need a high end PC.
Reinstall the operating system.
