I have a laptop and have had severe internet problems since today. I'm connected to the same Wi-Fi as all other devices in the house. There's also another one which I have also used without success. Things like Google still work, but if I want to join a Discord or play a game, for example, the Wi-Fi fails in some places and is briefly suspended. It works perfectly on all other devices. I also restarted the Wi-Fi. What can I do?
Reset connection settings or remove Wi-Fi and reconnect.
Use the laptop only for writing and use the PC for games.
Don't have a PC
If there are a lot of devices in the Wi-Fi network at the same time and if it turns out that you only have a "weak" DSL line, it is no wonder that you can always "lose" the network or prove a very bad connection.
I would try a LAN cable first, connect the router with a LAN cable, then to your computer and see whether the problem has been resolved or not. If the problem is still there, you know that it is a problem with your computer and if the problem no longer occurs, I would get a higher bandwidth or connect fewer devices to the Wi-Fi when I connect to a Discord server connect, as Wi-Fi is split up.
Contact Tele.- to your provider, they may know a solution to your problem. Of course, it may also be that your internet is insufficient and you need a better contract.
These are all just recommendations, maybe consider switching to a PC. For intensive games like GTA5, a laptop is probably not enough.
