For several weeks I have problems with my laptop again and again. And one problem is the Windows Explorer. A problem that kept coming up that Windows Explorer loads all the time and displays this green bar. Sometimes only the folder that is currently open is displayed in the list and sometimes all of them are displayed. Even if this green bar reaches x, it does not stop loading. Sometimes I do not even see the icons of the programs on the desktop, only white files. What also happens sometimes is that the files in Windows Explorer do not load properly, but only display as white files instead of displaying the actual icon. Can someone help me with this problem?
Maybe even clean up the hard drive a bit.
Once defragment and delete everything unnecessary.
Uninstall programs that are not needed, and using CCleaner o.Ä. Take a full scan. There are a lot of temporary files accumulating over time.
If the hard drive is full, that happens, especially with HDDs.
Make sure that this always occurs with the same access. Sometimes files or drives can't be read correctly and the Explorer hangs.
