Wanted to expand the C: partition of my laptop so that I have more storage space, but there's the problem that one partition from which I want to transfer the memory is not directly next to the other. How do I get more space in the C: partition?
There are appropriate tools for this, e.g. Acronis Disk Manager. But what do you mean by "isn't right next to the other"?
OK thanks, I'll try it out. Is the tool free? I mean that you can only expand the storage space with partitions next to each other. So I wanted to expand C by reducing D, but since they are not next to each other it doesn't work.
With the tool the partitions can be reduced / enlarged, moved and so on. Quite simple. There's a demo version, but I don't know what it can (not) because I have the full version (and often need it).
Thanks, I managed it with Mini tool partition wizard.
