Listen with two headphones (cable and bluetooth) on the laptop at the same time. Possible, if so, how?

Does anyone know if it is possible if I let the sound play once via a headset (cable) and additionally via Bluetooth headphones? In other words, two people with headphones can listen to the laptop at the same time.

My girlfriend would like to watch me and, accordingly, also listen when I gamble. My game can't be played over loudspeakers (headset compulsory), now as already written above… Is it possible that I can hear headset over my cable and that you can listen in with Bluetooth headphones or cable headphones at the same time? Didn't find anything useful on the internet regarding setting etc.

I don't know if it works with bluetooth.
But there are very simple jack splitters and USB splitters.
Then she can definitely listen via cable.

Thank you for the quick answer, I also have such a splitter here, no problems, but the Bluetooth headphones are a lot better in terms of sound quality… So I asked about the Bluetooth headphones.

po

Well better depends on the model. ^^ First and foremost, she wants to listen, so it's enough for testing, but theoretically it should work because the same output signal is used. Just test it… ^^ (if it doesn't work, a Bluetooth adapter may be necessary)

I've already tried everything about the Windows sound setting (to the best of my knowledge), whether it's via playback device or output, recording / listening… It didn't work.

Then you must first come to terms with the charming retro headphones:-P

po

But otherwise Bluetooth works for you? , hmm yes… Can get a bit stupid if he is supposed to chase that through different channels.

Ba

Yes Bluetooth works without any problems. Unfortunately, I only know how I can have the headphones sound + speaker sound play at the same time and that's why I think the headset + BT headphones should work, purely theoretically. But you can't find anything useful on the net that tells me that it's just about an extra sound card works. Argh!

po

Yes, I can imagine that it doesn't work because the PC would then have to transmit two different channels at the same time, and Windows can do that as far as I don't know, something that doesn't work with the aux cable, for example, if you want to use two different outputs.

Ba

I think like you do, I think Windows doesn't like to broadcast that over different channels. What a shame, thought someone had an ace up their sleeve. Thank you very much for your brooding @ewigsuzu:-)

po

Well, the technology freaks probably know something better here. ^^

What just occurs to me, there's a hifi forum there are people who also tinker boxes and things together… Maybe they know something. ^^ (but may take longer to answer)

No.

Your computer only outputs a signal.

You can split it with a Y-cable or connect an external amplifier (e.g. A USB audio interface) with a monitor connection. Here the signal is doubled. There are certainly interfaces with BT, but I couldn't think of any.

You can also use a jack Y-splitter with a BT transmitter and couple it with the KH.

Thank you for the information @KolnFC. Would you be so friendly and would you look for this on Amazon with a link and send it here? So that I 100% order the right one…

Strangely, I have such a splitter with 3 connections (Sennheiser sky blue) which also worked in itself. However, tested again yesterday, with normal headphones I could hear twice, but my headset (as soon as the USB plug is in, I hear the sound, then add the little green "headphone jack", but then I only hear through the headset) as soon as the USB plug is inside, the headphone jack is "blocked"… So be careful what I would have to order.

USB is digital, i.e. The sound card (converter and amplifier) are in the headphones themselves. A digital signal is only 1's and 0's, they can't make a membrane vibrate, it needs an amplitude.

As soon as you connect a USB headset, the sound signal is passed on to the device, your PC is then out.
