Laptop doesn't recognize USB anymore, what could be the problem?

Today I wanted to connect my switch to my laptop and then this sound came naturally when you connect a USB cable. Immediately afterwards came the sound that comes when you remove it. Tried several cables so it is most likely not the cable.

Does anyone know why this could be and whether I can do anything myself? The latest driver for the USB port is installed.

It could be that the connector is dirty or the switch is not compatible with the laptop or it is simply broken there are many options you would recommend trying to clean it first

You can't do anything with the switch on the PC anyway, which briefly checks whether it can do something with the device where it was connected to and then disconnects so that it just charges
