Can I exchange lcd display with led display in the laptop?

Since my laptop has got gray stripes, I would like to change the display. Unfortunately, the original display is not available as an LCD but only as an LED form. (Acer Aspire Nitro 5 AN515-31) Can I safely buy and install the display?

It is another name for the same. LCD displays have LED lighting… All.

If you do not even know that there's no difference between the LCD and the LED, I would strongly advise against doing a display exchange yourself…
