Today the left hinge on my Acer laptop broke. The hinge broke out but the laptop still works perfectly, so nothing is damaged on the display (as far as I can see it). Can you fix that? And if so, how much would it cost and how long would the repair take?
Repairing a laptop is usually very difficult. The entire case has to be replaced. You could possibly look at Ebay for a used, structurally identical model to convert it.
If so, I would give the laptop to a workshop. I wouldn't fix it myself
Then you can only try. Maybe they can tell you beforehand how much it might cost.
