When I worked recently on my laptop (Acer Swift), some update was performed surprisingly with the PC being restarted once. Since then, I can no longer log in regularly or he automatically logs on either with a user named "Romeo" or "Julia". After that, there seems to be some setup going on, but that seems to be Windows itself (Windows 10), informing you that it can take a few minutes, and it's all over for you, and so on. Like a normal Windows setup.
As soon as the setup is finished, the desktop appears with a black background and to the right of the screen a window with data for my PC appears (power, spread of the screen, processor, etc.), in the design of Mediamarkt (I also bought my PC there). After that you can use the Internet and the PC in principle as usual, only every 15 minutes suddenly on full-screen advertising for the exact same model is displayed, then everything is unsaved closed no matter what you have just done.
Is this a virus? Because every time I want to open the settings, they are automatically closed after two seconds, as if something were blocking them. I have to say that the laptop was an exhibition model and I have the suspicion that the software after an update or so back in the old "Aussellungs mode" has reset I'm not sure.
Since you unfortunately only provide approximate descriptions instead of exact information, you can only guess. A "virus" is usually not noticeable, either by starting setups or other abnormalities, because malware (generic term) should work unnoticed by the victim and not arouse his distrust.
In your opinion, how could I have been more explicit?
Unfortunately, no idea what you mean, because as you can see that is a pretty long text, maybe it's because you do not read exactly because it is clearly accurate information and what I've written has not really much to do with assumptions Yes, I'm a QUESTION and not a POVERTURE so it can be too bad to guess ♂️
Updates and software setups name their origins, names and destinations. Running processes can be viewed in the Task Manager.
Because it is clearly accurate information
Sure, of course…
any update…
any setup.
And what I have written does not really have much to do with assumptions because I have some QUESTION and not TRUTH so it can also be bad assumptions
It's about what the respondent, in this case, I take from your information and conclude or suspect.
And you can't do anything with your information. It can be a faulty system update or a recently installed software with malware features. Then the error is a bit strange.
In the event that you think, I have no idea of the subject: I work without help from a quarter of a century with PCs and have at times as a volunteer in some well-known PC portals such as PC-Welt.de or Chip.de in the field of anti-malware worked. Main problem then as now: the users provide little information and expect miracles.
