I would like to reset my notebook (Acer Aspire E15 / Windows 10) with the option "Keep My Data". For this I'm told that I should connect a recovery medium, ie the included recovery CD. The problem now is that I've lost that very same thing. How can I still reset my PC as desired? Please do not write the answers in computer science jargon, because I know something really zero.

You can create this medium yourself. Go with a USB stick to the neighbor and Google to MediaCreationTool. This will allow you to turn your USB stick into a recovery / reinstallation stick.
Thanks for the answer! I have now created such a stick using the program. However, I now see that I should insert the recovery media and restart the PC. I did that too, but nothing happened. The PC is still not reset. Why is this / how can I do it anyway?
Somewhere, if you boot from the stick, so boot up, would have computer repair options. There should be listed some possibilities.
