I have a motherboard from Asus' laptop, has the female connector of the Bios battery flown out?

I have Asus mainboard eeepc1000h because there was a BIOS battery socket female from short-circuit the part was flown out.

Do you know what the part is called?

Could I save the mainboard because one side of the solder joint is completely gone.

Well, you could solder the affected connections again, i.e. Bridge them. You have to measure whether other components such as pots, capacitors or resistors have broken. Do not test before you have checked and measured everything. You could do even more damage.

Honestly, buy yourself a new board. I can't explain how you have to measure, because each component is measured differently and has different values which you have to know and calculate if you do not have a circuit diagram.
