I would like to rebuild my laptop, which is currently running on Windows 8.1! But I would use a bootable USB stick with Windows 10, so directly Windows 10 is installed. Is that possible in itself?
Is possible if your Win8 is activated or you have a key for Win10. Alternatively you can also download the MediaCreation Tool (which you also need for the stick). This will allow you to upgrade to Win10 without a stick. Or the Windows update wizard. That works too.
Naturally. Create it by MediaCreationTool and then install it.
Exactly, and the key should continue to work!
Yes, if your USB stick is bootable and your UEFI allows you to boot from USB media.
You should of course have a corresponding Windows 10 license.
Yes, if at least an upgrade is performed.
I think so synonymous with a clean install, since the key is stored since Win 8 in the motherboard, and this upgrade should be entitled.
I'm not so sure about that, but fine.
Yes, I'm not 100% sure. ❤
