Firefox doesn't save the file in the download folder?

I was just about to download all the mods from a game that I had before. But the zip files are stored somewhere in the world. I looked in the Firefox settings, but it is set so that it is saved in the download folder. How do I get the files to end up in the download folder? (Use Windows 10)

The download folder can be found in Windows 10 under the path C: \ Users \ [your username] \ Downloads or This PC> Downloads. So that Firefox no longer uses this, you have to proceed as follows: Start the Firefox browser on your computer, if you have not already done so

You can in the Firefox settings:

change the default download folder. In the General menu, scroll down a little to the "Files and Applications" menu item. There you can choose which folder is the standard download folder

That's exactly what I did and it still doesn't work

Then I would recommend to "browse" the path and set it manually. Chances are you're not looking for the files where the download library is.
