Genshin won't let me in anymore, what should I do?

Back then, at the time of the lantern ritual, I installed the game on my laptop to help my friend not to miss important events because he couldn't play it during the period due to work, and I even set up an account myself first so that I can even play test whether it runs on the laptop because it is an older model and such.

In any case, the game has always run smoothly so far, even if anything but smooth and I never had any problems with updates.

Today I had to repeat the download MULTIPLE times to install the current version until it finally worked after I got connected via LAN cable. So the game is up to date, but still won't let me in. First there's the welcome screen, where the registered email address is also displayed in encrypted form and after another click this gate should be built through which you enter the game world, but this does not even occur because the game closes again immediately.

I don't know what else to do. I moved Diluc there and wanted to play the whole game with him as the main character and now I can't get in anymore.

Has anything changed in terms of compatibility, so that my laptop, which used to squint, no longer works? I can't afford a real gamer PC.

(I've already contacted customer service via email, but I'm not the only one who needs help)

I admit I don't really know my way around technology, but I still try to do my best to help you. Which pc do you have? Then I could check whether it meets the minimum requirements. What about the memory? How much is there left? Maybe the update (8Gb I think) was just too much for your laptop

Ox

So yeah, the requirements are not met, I already know that much, but the game actually ran without any problems beforehand, it just didn't run smoothly, but as long as there was nothing on time, I could live with it. At least I was able to play the game and was more important to me than graphics and fluency.

The more updates come, the more requirements the game has that the laptop has to meet in order to get the game running. I really think it's because of that. Already mentioned before that the game was not running smoothly. Otherwise I couldn't explain it to myself. The game is also available on the mobile phone, which might be a possible alternative

Ox

Yes, I know, but the controls are not exactly comfortable. I can't even move the figure or the camera properly and then you have to master hectic situations like that. Such a game is definitely not suitable for smartphones.

Na

Even if I have a good gamer PC, I often play it on my cell phone or iPad and it actually works with the controls. It just takes a bit of getting used to at the beginning. There's no other alternative, and if your PC is not able to start the game there's little that can be done about it.
