How do I persuade my parents to put my PC in their room?

I'm 14 years old and have the following problem my parents don't allow me to put my PC in my room, the PC is currently in a guest room in the basement. Whenever I want to play, I have to go down to the basement. I've already told my parents that I think that's stupid and offered them that the PC is usually shut down during the day when I'm not playing and I do my schoolwork on my laptop which I have for school, but they say I would not sleep anymore and only be at the pc, does anyone have any advice for me? My parents are generally very strict when it comes to computer games, for example I'm not allowed to play games in which bullets or violence are used, so only simulations Minecraft and a few other games.

I can understand that you think that's stupid, but I think the way it is currently, it actually represents a good compromise and I, as a parent, would not renegotiate. You have the opportunity to play your games and you have the opportunity to do your things for school.

In the end, your basis of argumentation is exhausted. Yeah, it's stupid. But in my opinion that is the only argument on your side.

I don't think your parents are strict at all, after all you can use your PC and laptop. I just find them appropriately caring and wish I had more parents like them.
