I got a laptop for Christmas (Fujitsu Lifebook S Series) and I had some problems with the sound right from the start. Compared to my old laptop, which was really old, it generally doesn't sound that good. I also have the problem that as soon as I put on a headset, a noise appears. But that only comes when I put the one cable into the micro slot, with the other slot I don't actually hear any noise. Sometimes the others do not notice it (e.g. During video conferences), but especially when I'm on Discord and talk to others, they sometimes hear the noise. I'm sure that it is not because of the headset because I use it very often with other consoles (Xbox, PS4) and nobody complained. Does anyone know what could be the cause or what I could change about it?
Look in the properties if you have your level or the amplifier too high.
