I would like to get some experience reports before my purchase, since there's almost nothing on the Internet to find this. I plan to buy a laptop online (over 1000 euro) and have it delivered to Hungary, where someone can take it. On the side is "DHL Standard EU2" shipping, which costs 39 euro.
Now my question: Does anyone have experience with international DHL deliveries in Europe? How long does it take and how can I be sure the package will arrive? Can I reclaim my money from this if the package is lost or does not arrive?
Pay a little more and send with DHL Express.

I thought, that just means that it arrives faster? Is there any more guarantee that it will arrive safely?
Well guarantee… It should anyway arrive every package.
But the surveillance / security is a lot better. The structure of the DHL Express is more proffessional than the normal DHL or Post.
Of course it is faster but it starts with the customer service and ends so that not many packages disappear at DHL Express. Where we're again with the system and the security.
