I got a notebook from work today which was going to be scrapped because I had a value of 0 for accounting purposes but I liked the hardware better than mine.

So I simply built my hard drive into the notebook and it worked. Pc went up and everything went as before, data was on it etc.

Now, however, the message that I have inserted as i'm Bild. What can I do? Can I load and install Windows 10 iwie or what do I have to do now?

would be very grateful for help know me now not sooo good.

Kind regards

Your hard drive from the old laptop had very different hardware than the hardware in your new laptop. Since the license key does not fit together anymore.

I would recommend you to reinstall the hard drive from the company laptop, and there restore the "delivery status". Then you have a clean system with the right drivers and license from Windows.

Alternatively, like TheAllisons, you can write down correctly, reinstall Windows.

You can retransmit your personal important data via an external hard drive or USB stick from laptop alt to laptop.

Try to start the command prompt as an administrator. Bottom left in the search simply enter cmd and then start as admin.

There you give then

on. Now a window should open. There you can enter your Windows key. Under your laptop there should be a sticker with the key on it.

Do not know if it still works but a try is worth it. Otherwise you must probably buy Windows 10. ^^

The free Linux Mint Cinnamon is available as a DVD image for self burning at Linuxmint.com.

This is the ideal operating system for the second computer.

Mint (and the other Linux) have none of the many Windowsw limitations and are better equipped and easier to handle.

Maybe you will not need any windows anymore.
