Hello i'm 16 years old and i'm starting an apprenticeship soon And I will soon get money myself. I have a question. Is a laptop or pc better?
What do you want to do with it? For simple activities, it doesn't really matter whether you use a PC, laptop or tablet. For compute-intensive applications, I would clearly prefer the desktop PC because it offers more performance at a lower price and reasonable cooling options. But if you want to be mobile you can't avoid a laptop or tablet.
PC is much better - laptop is a stopgap solution for on the go. One or two displays, a keyboard and a mouse are required to work with it permanently.
Depending on what your purposes are.
When you travel a lot, you can hardly get around a laptop.
If you are not on the road a lot and use programs that are quite high on performance, e.g. Gaming, then a PC.
Okay, thanks for the hint
Gaming my brother built a gaming pc himself for 1200 euro and it is STILL good
It depends on what you want to use.
if you want to gamble you need hardware accordingly. The is with a pc much cheaper (and expandable) than with a notebook. But if you need something to work and want to take it with you, you are better off with a notebook. I haven't had a pc for 15 years, just a notebook.
tablet or mobile phone are completely different concepts, so they actually had no place in the survey. Macbook is only a laptop from Apple… Therefore, it is also double mated.
I just added it for fun, but I prefer not to play on apple just like that
And? I've been working in the home office since march. I also have a screen on my notebook, a wireless mouse and a proper keyboard…
Then I would prefer the desktop PC.
The performance is significantly better for the same price and you can e.g. Simply replace the CPU or GPU in the future.
Yes, if you are undemanding and don't want to do a lot, you can get by with a notebook.
For builds, renderings, VMs, etc. - i.e. Real use of the device - you need a decent machine. It is also available as a notebook, only because it is quite expensive with the same performance.
A portable typewriter is of course also good for surfing around and writing.
Of course, depending on what you want to do, pc makes more sense…
It just depends on what you want to do with it.
I for example. Have both and everyone has their own area of work.
