New laptop there

I got my laptop today and I wanted to connect it to my Wi-Fi but somehow this doesn't work although the password is correct, can someone help me?

First try to restart the modem, try whether the laptop's WLAN works otherwise (connect to the smartphone hotspot). If that doesn't work, contact me again 🙂

Password already checked on the router, so that it is really correct?
Have a look whether you have active NEN MAC filter?

Did you also look at the router? (that's what I meant by modem) restart, activate Wi-Fi…

Take a look at your router. It may be restricted to certain devices.

Which operating system is on it? What do you see when you want to connect?

If a MAC filter is activated in the WLAN router, then:

Either temporarily switch off the MAC filter in the WLAN router.

Or

connect using the WPS method (via the "WPS / Connect button" on the router). It's easy to explain here:

Because with the WPS method, the WLAN password is transmitted fully automatically and the MAC filter of the router for your laptop is also expanded.
