Windows problem?

When I tried to update I got the error message Update service not started.

Laptop:

I called Administration - Services and the entry Windows Update does not exist. Where should I get this service from again?

PC:

Same Windows, same version number Windows Update available in the services.

So what to do

Reset Windows on the laptop.

Start the command prompt as an administrator. Then enter the following command:

sfc / scannow

That repairs Windows 10. When that is done you should restart. In most cases everything will go back to normal.
