I (14) need my own device with which I can work because of the lockdown. I already got one from school, but I would like to have one of my own because, firstly, I don't like it and secondly, I can't do much with the one from school. I get the device with my own pocket money and it is my own decision that I invest it in a good device that should last a long time! So please don't come with me: it's unnecessary or don't be spoiled or whatever.
Now I wonder, is a laptop better for school or an IPad like this? I can spend up to 600 euro on one device. Does anyone have any recommendations? By the way, the device should last at least 3 years.
I got a laptop. Look at Saturn there are really good ones. Got one for 800 euro. Is very good
A friend of mine has an IPad with a keyboard like that on the case and does everything for school and private stuff with it. He says the sorting works very well and everything is always tidy (if you want it to)
Would take a notebook. The Lenovo Ideapad 5 14ALC, for example

Or with touch, available immediately and a 3-year guarantee with on-site service free of charge, the Ideapad Flex 5 14ALC

Would recommend a laptop if you have to work from home and are not allowed to take it to school. If you can take the device with you, an iPad is more flexible, but would recommend a pen for it.
Yes, I also intended to take the pen with me when I got an iPad.
I recommend a 15 "laptop with Windows 10. Not a gaming laptop - a 5i / 8GB RAM 500 GB hard drive is enough. But you should have a camera with you (for zoom and so on). You may be able to get software from school.
See if DELL has something in the price range, they sometimes have promotions.
