PC does not recognize LAN although LAN works?

My PC doesn't recognize the LAN cable, so I don't have internet, I tried the same LAN cable on my laptop and Wi-Fi amplifier, but it doesn't work on the PC.

There can be many reasons for this, starting with disabled connections in the CMOS to missing network drivers under Windows. It would be a good start if you gave some information about your system - Windows version used, data about the PC, as far as you know it (mainboard, etc.)
