Gaming laptop does the games online not work at home?

I have a gaming laptop that has various games installed on it.

The problem is with my buddy, the games are working fine online. I don't know my way around very well, but I can imagine that it is due to my router at home. I have a Telekom Speedport Hybrid 16000. I know it's not fast, but I can play Ps4 games online without any problems. Can anyone help me further?
