I have a very new laptop. However, one hears in a very quiet room the laptop work, so the hard drive.
Somehow I have in my mind, as a non-technical expert, that a laptop should actually be quite noiseless, or that under certain circumstances you might hear the fans.
Is it normal that you also hear the hard drive? Be it Win, or Apple devices?
I had the problem with a netbook whose HDD hard drive was quite loud. We sent in the notebook and the hard drive was replaced for warranty.
So pretty loud is called? Do I have to exchange it if I only hear the sounds in an absolutely quiet room?
It all depends on how loud the noises are. In and was clearly heard that it has always rattled, although we had no application open.
Your SSD makes noises?
Listen as a comparison exactly with a USB stick, if the SSD is louder than a USB stick, then you really have a problem…
Where is something of an SSD?
If a normal hard disk, not an SSD, is installed - normal… There are mechanical parts in it that move
So I do not hear a loud rattle, only if you are a little closer with his ears, then you hear it quietly.
Then this is normal and it would not otherwise be noticed, I think, if you have to go so close already.
