Headset picks up all the sounds of the pc's (hardware)?

With my headset microphone, I have the sounds of my laptop with it, for example, if I put a cd in my laptop, the other one hears it through my microphone and that's the same with the noise in the laptop, so whenever I'm with a friend he hears the noise from my laptop.
